The type locality is situated near Cabinda.

Distribution

The coastal plains of the lower Congo.

Habitat

Prefers fast flowing streams where it is found with A.escherichi.

1-2 (Types). Collected at Lucola River, near Cabinda.3-4. Collected at Buco Zau, Luali River. Both locations collected by Dr.W.J.Ansorge.
