Killifish UK - 2 Day Weekender

Held on 16 / 17th September 2023
Royal British Legion - Quinton Branch
211, Worlds End Lane, Quinton, Birmingham, B32 2RX.

The auction raised -

£444.65

for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The venue is used by the Midlands Charity Auctions & was available free of charge in exchange for a donation to charity.
The event was set up with zero costs to Killifish UK. People gave time & any additional equipment needed free of charge.
ALL monies made through door, raffle & auction sales commissions were donated to the Legion.
We went in clean & came out clean.
Receipt can be verified by contacting the Legions Quinton branch.
Auction sheets are retained by the organiser.

This was the first Killifish auction where a minimum bid of £5 per lot was introduced. No Killie pairs were auctioned for less.
This was done to help breeders produce fish for the auctions.
Attendance was not as high as we hoped but this didn't detract from the weekend auctions.
A lot of fish were auctioned & due to the low attendance some great fish were not sold.
Buyers, after all, only have a finite number of spare tanks.
