Collected in front of the lodge at Akaka. This was less than 10 metres wide & less than 1 metre deep in the dry season. Water temperature 80°F, pH just over 6. Sympatric species included Aplocheilichthys spilauchen. |

Collected by Kent Webster on the night of 26th December 2004. Most of the collection died but 1 male & 2 females got to the USA alive. |
