Breeding Notes

Reportedly not one of the easier lampeyes. Permanent breeding set ups are considered best. Water incubation of eggs takes 10-14 days. Fry are small & do best on Paramecium as a first food. Growth rate is slow with maturity taking 10 months.
Young are sensitive to water pollution & also sudden changes in pH. Changes should be done very gradually.
