Douékoué - Known to be in the BKA in 1983 & most likely prior to this. These were collected in the wild by Mr.H.de Bruyn who brought fish into the UK for the BKA convention in the above year.
Type Locality

A brook 2 kms west of Kassiapleu in the Man highlands, western Ivory Coast).

Distribution

Found in the middle & upper Sassandra River drainage area of western Ivory Coast.
