Given as residual pools of a rainforest brook on NR 1, 9 km southwest of Bifoun. |

Restricted to the type locality. This is on the north side of the Ogowe River in northwest Gabon. |

Presently only known from the type locality. Sympatric sp. include Aphyosemion striatum. |
